Wings 1975 release

This is the first original post of the year. According to an insert that came with the recent remaster of McCartney, four '70s Paul McCartney and Wings albums will be reissued in 2012. They are Ram, Venus and Mars (pictured), Wings at the Speed of Sound and Wings Over America. The three studio releases I have the original US LPs purchased at the time of release and EU remasters while the live one is on UK LP, so I can wait on these myself. Nothing on his site though, or the record companys. It is not certain when these will be available, as the focus now is on the new standards release Kisses on the Bottom. Even cassette editions of these albums can cost a few bob on eBay, let alone the CDs! I read that the remastering of the whole catalogue will be panned out until 2016! It can take as long to fix up an album as it did to record it in the first place! You're on your own until then! Watch this space!

Heres an original post for once! I don't always have time to put more than links.
Beatle people in North America as we all know had different albums to buy than the rest of the world back in the mid-'60s. This just gives the collectors more to work with today.
Since Capitol Records have released The Capitol Album Volumes 1 and 2, one would think there should be a third one. Even with the long-awaited remasters of the UK albums in September 2009, I'm sure some people want four more US albums officially on CD rather than from Dr Ebbetts or CD Maximum (like my copy of Help!)
This is what the boxed set would have:

Hey Jude/The Beatles Again
The Beatles Story (dated but never officially on CD)

Introducing the Beatles (Please Please Me - 2) and A Hard Days Night were originally released by other labels in the States so they wouldn't count. Capitol added reverb in their echo chamber down cellar at the famous tower in Hollywood ("Paperback Writer" on US 45 will have it). Audiophiles can really have a listen and hear whats different. Live at the Hollywood Bowl and Live at the Star Club are also in need of an official reissue. All authorised Beatle product today has to be approved unanimously by Messrs McCartney and Starr as well as widows Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison (née Arias).

Now that the Landmark Theatre in downtown Syracuse will be back this fall bigger and better than ever. It will accomodate more A-list acts yet the integrity and legacy of this local jewel has not been compromised. November and December have shows lined up already but for after New Years, theres plenty of room on the calendar. I was told by someone there that they're really a rental house and don't decide themselves who will use the facility but rather promoters, managers and agents will book the former local Loews picture palace like they would any venue.
