EU alert!

Eyjafjallajökull

The volcano ash cloud from Eyjafjallajökull, Ísland (Iceland) has caused a domino effect of chaos in Europe and beyond over the past week (at this writing). Flights are cancelled and people are trapped. Why am I putting this here? Anybody doing a tour in the European community or anyone currently based anywhere from Ireland to Russia may not be able to tour in the immediate future until the skies are safe for flying again. Also, ordering or sending anything to or in these countries in the post, the package may take a while. Retailers may not be able to obtain more EU imports straightaway that would have them new (as opposed to used product and pre-volcano stock). All this madness will also affect currency in trading such as the pound sterling, Kroner, Euro, Swiss franc, ruble, and złoty against the US dollar, and will impact the economy on top of the receding recession.
Hopefully, the black cloud will taper off and things will get back to normal. Keep checking your favourite artists' sites to see how this will affect their touring plans.
